WHY WE NEED THE JOBURG FORUM

1. Ordered a increase of water supply on a monday and by friday they came and did the necessary instalations. Was very happy with the service offered by city of johannesburg water department

2.On Friday 10th Feb I phoned the 011375555 help line. It was answered promptly and when I d
ropped the call and phoned back it was again answered promptly. I reported a water leak at my water mains on the pavement. On Saturday morning two people arrived and fixed my leak and put in a new meter. Thank You MUNICIPALITY FOR EFFICIENT SERVICE

 3.I have been double-billed for the past 2 years. I have supplied proof that I've paid for services for the entire time that I have been living at my address, and yet, nothing is done about reversing the charges. No one bothers to come back to me, and no matter how many emails I send, or phone calls I make, the problem persists.

4.So I bought a house in a complex in Northgate - Randburg in 2010. Being a first time home owner I ensured that all paperwork was completed but forgot the rates registration. So couples months later I realised that I never registered my rates and wanted to rectify the situation so I can pay my rates. I has been almost a year and still no account have been created.
I religiously phoned the customer services on 011 375 5555 with either no one picking up the phone or someone answering and telling me the account hasn't been created. They even gave me reference numbers but nothing has been created. Now I'm really pee'd off because when they finally decide to do their work then they will hold me liable for a massive amount that couldve been settled quite comfortably.

They have no etiquette nor do they have a bone of understanding what we as coonsumers have to go through.
